[11/06/04] “Bill, I was really impressed with today’s practice and so was Chris. He told me it may be the best practice he has ever attended by any organization! We will get the word out... Thanks, Dave

[11/03/04] “Bill, this was the best practice session ever!” Good work! Thanks, Scott

[03/25/05] "Hey Bill I just wanted to take the time to thank you again.  My son Julian just thinks the world of you and Jose.  You two have really impacted the way he approaches the game with a much more look at the fundamental as appose to the FLASH.. thank you Bill and keep up the good work.."

[2/12/06] "Hey there Bill. I wanted to thank you for all the hard work that you put into me. My coach had used me for all of the examples to show the players how to do the correct way. All I wanted to do was say thanks for helping me making my junior high team." Michael

[2/17/06] "Hi Bill, Just wanted to take a minute to thank you for all you have offered, shown and enhanced with both of my boys.   Sam made the High School team this year and I thank you for being a big part of this journey with our family.   Your support, effective techniques, patience & wide area of instructors that you have brought to the table has been awesome!   Nick also made the Jr. High team this year and again thank you for all you've to done.  Thanks for providing POSITIVE feedback and teaching solid technique with consistent follow through.  It cracks me up every time I hear Nick call out to his team mates at the Jr. High "walking is over rated, lets go guys"....... Hmmmmm  now where did he hear that Bill?  Keep up the great work!"   Joannie

[3/2/06] "Bill,  Just a note to thank you again for the opportunities that you have provided for our son, Darren.  Darren is now a member of the Desert Vista varsity team mainly because of the experience he gained in league play and at the many tournaments where he pitched for the Garden of Gears during the past three years.  He also gained valuable insight from the various coaches and guests that you have had at your practices and mini-camps.  All of these factors helped him to develop his skills and to be able  to pitch at a highly competitive level. Also, by your scheduling of games against many college teams, Darren drew interest and favorable reactions from their coaches.  Your strong recommendations to the coaches at the colleges where Darren has applied have brought constant telephone calls from the coaches vying for him to attend their schools.  Again, thanks for everything you have done to advance our son's baseball career.  By the way, the tournaments in Las Vegas, Palm Springs, Huntington Beach, and San Diego were fun for Mom and Dad too!"  Sincerely, Jim and Penny

[12/06/06] "Coaches Bill & Greg I wanted to thank you for all the hard work that you put into me. I also want to thank coach Bill for having Chris Caves  help with batting practice in the cages as that has really seem to help with my power it really is making a difference I really see that  when I hit in the cage. My coach had used me for all of the examples to show the players how to do the correct way especially the infield drills coach Greg had me doing at first & third base. All I wanted to do was say thanks for helping me making me a better player with more confidence." Chuck Dicker

You were and still are a big inspiration in my life. Hope to hear from you soon. Maybe I will start coaching."  sincerely,  Jeff Weigandt #10 pitcher

[3/9/07] "Hey Bill! I don't know if you remember me or not, but it's Brandon Hong. I played for you some years back now. I was cruising around the internet  and ran into your Garden of Gears site, and I thought I would say hello. I hope all is going well for you. I also wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed playing ball for you. I had a great time, with some great players, and you're a fantastic coach. Thanks for all the memories.  I was also interested in getting a SOB hat from you if possible. So let me know what I have to do to get one."     Regards,  Brandon Hong

[3/21/07] "It's always good to see something from guys in the news. Jacob is really starting to understand your batting fundamentals. He will get told something from his coach would tell and say "coach Bill used to tell me that". He's with the Texas Tarheels. I have to say we do miss you. You were a big influence on Jacob.Well you have a great day."    Joe Gonzales

[7/19/07] "I just wanted to follow up with you and give you an additional thank you for everything you’ve done for Andrew. The experience he received on the NBC team was incredible. He is truly looking forward at the opportunity to play for Mesa. None of this would have been possible without your support. Andrew is hoping you put the NBC team together for next summer and would love to play for you again. Please keep in touch and again a huge thank you and your players."   Pete Foti

[8/14/07] "Mr. Moore, I just wanted to say thank you for allowing Brennen to practice with the team over the past 2 weeks. He is really hoping to make the team this Saturday. I have been really impressed with you and the professionalism of your coaches.  Brennen has been waiting a long time to find a coach and team that will push him to the next level. I only wish we had found Garden of Gears years ago. Thank you again"     Carl j Day

[10/1/07] "Bill, This is Samantha Gonzales, Jacob's mom. When we were  in Arizona, Jacob was 12 and playing on your 14U team.  He played with the Texas Tarheels for the past year. They went to South Carolina in late July to win a national championship against teams from New York, down the eastern coast to Florida and one team from Puerto Rico. Since then, he decided that he wanted to change to another team. He started playing for ATX on the 14U team last month. He also turned 14 last month. When he started complaining that baseball was a boring sport and didn't want to play any more we started worrying. Fortunately, the coach over the 13U, 14U and 18U teams asked Jacob to catch for a tournament with the 18U team. He absolutely loved it! The coach has now asked him to stay on the 18U team. The team loves him and the boys were very suprised to find out that he's only 14. He gets to tell the pitcher what pitch to throw. He hasn't complained about being bored with baseball and is excited to have practice and games. His batting has even improved greatly I just wanted to let you know how well he has been doing because you were the first coach to allow him to play up and you've been a huge influence on his baseball education. Thanks for everything."   Samantha Gonzales
