Gears' History

Garden of Gears was founded in 1982 by Bill Moore who is backed with 35 years of baseball experience.

Garden of Gears provides top-notch baseball skills training, as well as high level competition, and remains one of the oldest and most premier clubs on amateur baseball!

Through our commitment, experience, and expertise Garden of Gears has established a relationship with our players that will last a lifetime!

Coach Moore is the "hands on" director of baseball operations. As such, he trains and directs all coaches on the staff.

Bill is an assistant coach at Mesa Community College and an Associate scout with the Seattle Mariners. He was recently named Regional Scouting Director in Baseball for Recruit, Inc., a college scouting and recruiting service.
